On the 27th of April, the Maiseyeu Lab visited Campus International School, Cleveland, to celebrate DNA day with local 6th grade students! We performed a fun strawberry DNA extraction, and talked about the importance of DNA and career opportunities related to genetics and biological sciences. The students were very excited to take home the DNA they had extracted!
