Recently, our postdoc Alice Chaplin was awarded a scholarship by the NIH to attend The Whole Scientist in Bar Harbor, Maine, organized by The Jackson Laboratory. PhD students and postdocs from across the country gathered at the Highseas Conference Center in order to expand their professional skills, including grant writing, people and project management, and interpersonal communications, among others.
